UPDATED: Blue Collar Workers Stand United
by J.W. Wilson
On October 8th, 2021, a day that will be in the hearts and minds of many of the people of Mississippi, the Gulf Coast and all over the country. What transpired was the Blue Collar workers of Ingalls Shipbuilding, and other places of employment gathered together to protest the recent announcement of mandated vaccination for all federal workers
Ingalls Shipbuilding is one of the largest companies in the United States to work on and build Large commercial ships and Naval Ships.
At around 12:00pm is when the event officially started and it is estimated that between 1000 and 1500 people arrived on the side of Highway 90 in Pascagoula, MS. They gathered together in comradery with homemade signs, flags to stand against what’s being considered Government Overreach by mandating vaccination for COVID-19.
As reported by the Sun Herald: “Ingalls Shipbuilding, John C. Stennis Space Center and other federal jobs on the Coast now require all employees be vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021, following updated guidance handed down by the Biden administration in late September. The decision garnered significant pushback before its confirmation and now could cause a mass exodus from Coast federal jobs.”
And as a Spokesperson for Ingalls reported to the Sun Herald that “Under 50% of its 11,500 employees has been vaccinated against COVID.” (Sun Herald Article)
Below is a few of the videos that were taken by supporters of the Protest and peoples right to choose.
This video below shows one of the speakers mentioning Ivermectin. You cannot say from this short clip what it was in reference to, but one can suggest that it is being referenced as one of the few over the counter medications that can be taken for COVID-19, as most notably done by Joe Rogan, recently.
From people wanting to retain their right to choose what’s put in their bodies, to those who have general distrust of government mandates, to those who have religious reasons, to those who are positively pro-life, they all came together under the banner of protesting the Biden Administration’s over reach of power being dictated to the American people under the guise of safety and concern for others.
From the Facebook group page “Gulf Coast Against Mandates”, the organizer of the event, Nolan Mann, also planned the event on Facebook (Event Page), where the mission of the event was stated as follows:
“This is the day we make our voice heard. This is the day we make our presence felt. We are not just numbers on a spread sheet. We are fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters. We are the back bone of the economy, we are the once praised essential workers. We are the now shamed, the threatened, and the disobedient. We are shunned for our cautious distrust. We can make a difference if we become united, we need people from all walks of life, from all political backgrounds, from all vaccine status’s to join us on October 8th, at 12:00pm-6:00pm to make our voices heard. United we stand!!
“We would like to make it very clear that this protest is in no way intended to be directed to the companies themselves, rather we are focusing on the larger issue of freedom of choice and what it means to the people of the gulf coast and surrounding areas.”

I think that their voice is being heard, but more importantly the voices of many are starting to drown out the voices of the few in government (relative) who seek to control with absolute power. The people of America are finally starting to find their voice again, and learn what some have been beating the drums about for years to decades long battle between the global elite and the Liberty Movement.
If you or someone you know is planning a protest or gathering opposing the draconian vaccine mandates issued by State or Federal Government – let us know in the comments. We will do what we can to get the word out and to report on the events.
Conversing with the organizer of the event Nolan Mann, I was able to ask him a few questions:
- LMR: How many supporters attended? (Nolan): We estimate over 1,000 in rotation throughout the day, we gathered over 500 signatures on the petition.
- LMR: Has there been any conflict between the protesters and Ingalls or other business? (Nolan): No, at least not as of yet, Ingalls issued a statement saying they were aware of the event Friday and said we as employees had the right to express ourselves.
- LMR: If you don’t comply by the Dec 8th deadline, do you believe that you will lose you employment? (Nolan): At this point that is what is being relayed to us, we are hopeful this changes but at the moment it is all we have to go by.
- LMR: Any other statement that you or the group would like the world to know? (Nolan): We are open to anyone from any political background, vaccination status, and profession to joining us in this stand against this unconstitutional mandate.
